Malik Isaac Taylor tribute

Malik Izaak Taylor[1] (November 20, 1970 – March 22, 2016     ), known professionally as Phife Dawg (or simply Phife), was an American rapper and a member of the group A Tribe Called Quest with high school classmates Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (and for a short time Jarobi White). He was also known as the Five Foot Assassin, The Five Footer, the Funky Diabetic, Dyno Mutt, Mutty Ranks and The Five Foot Freak.

This is an original 12×12 inch painting intended as a memorial piece as part of my “Now That’s What I Call Garfield” a collection of Garfield scenes with old school hip hop lyrics superimposed over the original words. Available on my Facebook page $100 original, $25 for print.but-on-stage-call-me-dynomutt

This is hand painted using acrylic, spray paint and paint markers and some stencil work. The cassette tape stencils were hand cut by me.
